Chunky Beanies for the Homeless

Over the past few years, a number of “knitters” from St Bernadette’s Parish have been furiously "rattling their pins”, making beanies for the homeless. In the past Beanies have been given to the Legion of Mary’s Soup Kitchen, the Talbot Centre; the Street Pastors; the Wayside Club and just last week Beanies were issued to impoverished seafarers through the Apostolate of the Sea at their Annual Mass in Glasgow.  If you would like to help the homeless by knitting Beanies please collect a pattern form the back of the Church.  Two balls of Chunky wool make 6 Beanies.  Many thanks to all those who have helped in the past either by knitting, donating wool or donating money.  Thank you.
